Have a question that we haven't been able to answer here? Then please reach out to us with your inquiry:

What method of leadlighting do you do?

We make leadlights using the 'Modern method', which incorporates the use of safety glass (aka toughened glass), so it comes in one full panel of glass.

Are these leadlight safe for outside/kids/pets etc?

Yes! We believe that our leadlights are the safest ones to have to live outside; and for kids and pets to be around. Since we make all of our leadlights out of safety glass, even if the leadlight should break (which is extremely difficult to do - we've tested!) it will mostly hold itself together, and the pieces that do break off are roundish in shape and are not deadly sharp. (Note: you still should handle broken pieces with care to avoid possible injury!)

What is the timeframe to get my leadlights made and delivered to me?

On average, we allow 4 - 6 weeks for us to make and send your leadlight/s. However, this can vary depending on the size and complexity of the commission, and if any unexpected delays should occur.

Can these leadlights be Double or Triple glazed?

Yes! Our leadlights can be incorporated into a double-glazing or triple-glazing unit, but we do not do the double/triple-glazing ourselves. We make the leadlights single-glazed and then send them either to you, your glazier or to the company we work with to be double/triple glazed by them.

Is shipping/freighting the leadlights safe?

Yes! We confidently ship our leadlights nationwide and have only ever had one break during shipping in all our 30 years of being in business (and that one was dropped off the top of a forklift by the freight company at the time). We make our own boxes by hand, so you can be confident that your leadlight will reach you safely and in one piece.

Can you make custom designs?

Absolutely! We love working closely with our clients to make custom designs that they are 100% happy with.

Do you do leadlight repairs?

Only if your damaged leadlight is also made using the modern method. If it is traditionally made, then we wouldn't be able to repair it for you - we would have to make you a brand new panel.
(Unsure which method your leadlight is made with? Then send us a photo and we can let you know)

Do you have a studio that we can come visit?

No. We currently do not have a physical studio where you can come visit us and see our work. You can check out our portfolio or social media for the 'next best' digital version, however!

Do you cator to/ship nationwide?

Yes! We make leadlights and confidently ship them to our clients all over New Zealand.
